The Supervisor in SMT is responsible of understanding the workload at the department level and create the daily schedule based on the available resources. The Supervisor is responsible for making sure the team understands the tasks and the goals assigned and works with the team to achieve those goals. The person in this role has to collaborate and coordinate work with other areas of the business and eliminate any roadblocks to achieve the job at hand.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma, GD, or Technical School
  •  5+ years’ experience as a supervisor, preferably in a similar field. 
  • 3+ years of hands-on SMT experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong computer skills
  • Detail oriented, positive attitude and a self-starter individual that works very well under pressure.
  • Manufacturing experience, Aerospace a plus  
  • Must be a proficient user of Microsoft Office software, especially Excel and Word.
